Cloudflare Partner Network

Cloudflare partner: how to choose the right one in 2026

A Cloudflare partner is an authorized company that resells, implements, or integrates with Cloudflare services. The Cloudflare Partner Network covers three tracks: reseller and solution partners, technology partners, and service delivery partners.

Bring your zone count, traffic profile, and current Cloudflare stage.

Cloudflare network figures, reviewed July 2026.

Cloudflare runs that network across 330+ cities and 13,000 networks, offering 60+ network, security, and performance services (Cloudflare, 2026). A partner contract is how most buyers reach Cloudflare Enterprise. Bot Management, BYOIP (Bring Your Own IP), SSL for SaaS, and Magic Transit are not sold on self-serve plans.

Partner status confirms authorization. Partner status does not measure engineering capability. Two partners at the same tier can produce opposite outcomes. One invoices the license and forwards escalation to Cloudflare support. The other owns production configuration, tuning, and incident response.

This page maps the partner programs, compares the delivery models, explains what drives an Enterprise quote, and gives a vetting checklist you can run in one call.

The ecosystem

What a Cloudflare partner is and what the partner network covers

Program structure per Cloudflare’s partner program pages, reviewed July 2026.

Cloudflare authorizes partners in three functionally different tracks, and the track predicts what you actually receive.

  • Track 01

    Reseller and solution partners

Sell Cloudflare licenses, and some also manage the deployment. Cloudflare organizes them under the PowerUP Partner Program.

  • Track 02

    Technology partners

Build product integrations rather than customer deployments. Cloudflare features CrowdStrike, Google Cloud, Microsoft, Okta, Ping Identity, SentinelOne, and Wiz.

  • Track 03

Service delivery partners and global system integrators

Run implementations at scale, which Cloudflare positions for large transformations.

  • Adjacent

    Distributors

Companies such as Exclusive Networks supply regional partners rather than end customers.

  • Adjacent

    Hosting and platform partners

Provision Cloudflare at the platform level. WordPress.com and WooCommerce sites reach Cloudflare this way, as do customers of many a web hosting service.

Eligibility is broad. Agencies, managed service providers (MSPs), hosting companies, independent software vendors, distributors, and system integrators all qualify for a track.

A reseller is one kind of Cloudflare partner, not a synonym for the whole category.

Delivery models

Reseller, technology partner, or managed service partner: which one you need

Configuration ownership is the column that decides your outcome. Read it first.

Delivery model, not tier, decides who owns your configuration during an incident.

Owns your config

Managed service partner

A managed service partner owns production configuration, tuning, and incident response. Keep the support distinction accurate. Cloudflare provides first-line support for the Enterprise service, and the partner adds customer-side expert support.

Escalation Partner first, Cloudflare in parallel

You own your config

Reseller

A reseller invoices the license and earns margin. Technical escalation goes to Cloudflare support, and your team writes the rules.

Escalation Cloudflare support

Integration only

Technology partner

Technology partners integrate products and do not implement your deployment. Datadog handles network and Workers observability. Wiz covers cloud security posture, and Cycode covers application security posture.

Escalation Their own product support

Google Cloud Platform and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure serve as origins and on-ramps, and Cloudflare markets the Cloudflare@OCI joint capability.

Bandwidth Alliance membership changes origin economics. Cloudflare states $0 egress with participating providers, and Backblaze confirms that B2 egress through Cloudflare is free. Alibaba Cloud participates as an APAC origin option, so cloud storage choice affects total delivery cost.

Partner programs

Cloudflare partner programs: PowerUP, Cloudflare One, and technology partnerships

Scroll the rail sideways to compare all four programs.

The PowerUP Partner Program carries four routes to revenue: Resell, Manage, Distribute, and Consult. Partner tiers run Registered, Select, and Elite. Elite partners receive designated channel managers, presales engineers, joint business planning, and MDF (market development funds).

The program holds a 5-star ranking in CRN’s 2025 Partner Program Guide. Cloudflare reported that channel and alliance revenue grew 174% over two years (Cloudflare press release, 2024).

Deal registration matters to your quote. A partner registers the opportunity, and registration governs discount eligibility and pricing priority on that deal.

Tier tells you about revenue attainment and certification headcount. Tier tells you nothing about who configures your WAF (web application firewall).

Cloudflare One partner program vs the PowerUP program

The Cloudflare One Partner Program is the specialized track for Zero Trust, Network-as-a-Service, and Cloud Email Security.

Cloudflare One covers Access, Gateway, Tunnel, Browser Isolation, and Magic WAN. Access policies consume identity and device signals from Microsoft, CrowdStrike, and SentinelOne. Cloudflare offers Services Accreditations so partners can deliver architecture assessments and implementation support.

In 2026 Cloudflare added the Cloudflare One Design Partner Designation for SASE (secure access service edge), Zero Trust, and secure AI adoption. The first designated group named Arctiq, Consortium, CMT, Presidio, and The Missing Link (Cloudflare, 2026).

Application security and deliveryPoints to a PowerUP partner.
Workforce and network accessPoints to a Cloudflare One partner.

The decision rule is short, and those two lines are the whole test.

Commercials

What Cloudflare Enterprise costs through a partner

Cloudflare prices Enterprise by quote, so no public number exists for it.

Cloudflare’s plans page lists Free at $0/month, Pro at $20/mo billed annually or $25/mo billed monthly, and Business at $200/mo billed annually or $250/mo billed monthly. The Contract plan is listed as “Custom”, billed annually (Cloudflare, reviewed July 2026).

  1. Free$0/month
  2. Pro$20/mo billed annually
  3. Business$200/mo billed annually
  4. ContractCustom, billed annually
Cloudflare plans page, reviewed July 2026. Ordinal tiers, step widths are not to scale.

What drives an Enterprise quote

  • Zone count and the number of domains under management
  • Traffic profile, including request volume and attack surface
  • Module selection such as Bot Management, Magic Transit, and SSL for SaaS
  • Commit length, since multi-year commitments price differently from annual ones
  • Deal registration status, which governs the partner’s discount eligibility

Non-price terms decide as much as the number. Confirm the contracting legal entity, the settlement currency and method, renewal mechanics, and how overages are handled.

Forrester Consulting, in a study commissioned by Cloudflare, modeled 238% ROI over three years for a composite organization, with payback in under six months (Forrester TEI, 2024). Treat that as vendor-commissioned modeling, not as an independent benchmark for your estate.

Implementation route

How Cloudflare Enterprise onboarding with a partner works

Duration follows your DNS TTLs (time to live), zone count, and change-window availability rather than a fixed calendar.

Onboarding runs as a fixed sequence, and each step has a client-side input.

  1. Traffic audit

The partner audits your traffic profile and attack history.

  2. Contract and provisioning

Both sides sign the contract and the partner provisions the Enterprise account.

  3. Origin and DNS ownership

Your team supplies the origin inventory and proves DNS ownership.

  4. Cutover plan

The partner plans the DNS cutover around your change windows.

  5. WAF baseline

The partner sets a WAF and rate-limiting baseline for your endpoints.

  6. Bot rollout

Bot Management and Turnstile run in log mode first, then move to enforcement.

  7. BYOIP and SSL for SaaS

Both get configured for multi-domain estates.

  8. Observability export

Logs and metrics export to Datadog or your existing observability stack.

  9. Tuning and health review

The partner tunes rules and runs an account health review.

Cloudflare’s developer documentation is the source of record for feature behavior and plan limits.

Vertical fit

Why Digital Entertainment and FinTech platforms need a specialized partner

Operators searching for a Cloudflare partner for iGaming are usually screening for exactly this vertical knowledge.

Digital Entertainment and FinTech traffic breaks the default configuration a generic provider ships.

Traffic patterns mapped to Cloudflare controls and to what a generic setup misses.
Traffic patternCloudflare controlWhat a generic setup misses
L7 floods timed to live eventsRate limiting plus Magic Transit readinessNo pre-agreed runbook for event windows
Bonus abuse and affiliate fraudBot Management scoring on behaviorRules tuned to IP reputation only
Credential stuffing on payment APIsAPI Shield plus schema validationAuth and payment endpoints left unrated
Scraper traffic distorting analyticsBot classification in analyticsAcquisition cost inflated by non-human traffic
Hundreds of brand or mirror domainsSSL for SaaS plus templated zone configPer-zone manual configuration drift
IP allowlists at payment providersBYOIPIP reputation lost at migration
Audit evidence for PCI DSS and DORALog retention and exportRetention set below the audit window

Mobile apps extend the same problem to the client side. Approov, a Cloudflare technology partner, attests mobile apps and APIs so requests from tampered or emulated clients get rejected.

Compliance frameworks shape configuration, not just paperwork. PCI DSS and DORA set evidence and retention expectations that determine how long you keep edge logs and where you export them. Confirm your obligations with qualified counsel rather than with an infrastructure vendor.

Due diligence

How to vet a Cloudflare partner before you sign

Service delivery providers describe their own status in their own words, so read the designation carefully.

Seven checks separate a partner with an engineering bench from a partner with a price list.

  1. 01

    Verify authorization

    Use Cloudflare’s own partner locator.

Prevents paying a broker with no partner contract.

  2. 02

    Ask for certification records

Request them by name and count.

Prevents a tier badge earned by one certified employee who has since left.

  3. 03

    Ask who does the work

Request named engineers, not account managers.

Prevents handoff to an anonymous ticket queue after signature.

  4. 04

Get the SLA and escalation matrix in writing

Ask for named tiers and response targets.

Prevents discovering during an incident that escalation means a support form.

  5. 05

    Request a reference architecture

Ask for one that matches your traffic profile.

Prevents a generic template applied to an atypical estate.

  6. 06

Confirm account ownership and configuration portability

Check the tenant and the role assignments.

Prevents lock-in when the account sits in the partner’s tenant.

  7. 07

    Check references in your vertical

Include Gartner Peer Insights categories for DDoS protection, bot management, and CDN.

Prevents becoming the partner’s first customer in your industry.

A common engagement sequence runs Qualify, Diagnose, Implement, then Handoff. Cloudflare stays the official first-line support channel, and the provider adds customer-side expert support.

Using the Cloudflare partner locator

Cloudflare’s partner locator is the official directory of authorized partners.

The entry point cloudflare.com/find-a-partner/ now redirects to partnerlocator.cloudflare.com (verified July 2026). The directory lets buyers browse authorized partners and narrow by region and specialization. Third-party directories such as Partnerbase and Elioplus index the same partners with different filters.

What a listing confirms

  • Authorization as a Cloudflare partner
  • Region and country of record
  • Declared specialization

What a listing never shows

  • SLA terms and response targets
  • Incident-response staffing
  • Case history in your vertical

Directory listings share a structural limit. A listing confirms authorization, and a listing does not show SLA terms, incident-response staffing, or case history in your vertical.

Geography is a weak filter. A partner’s registered country does not determine its ability to serve traffic across EMEA, the UAE, LatAm, and APAC.

Audit

Common Cloudflare partner mistakes and how to fix a bad setup

Cloudflare’s own documentation stays the source of record for what a feature does.

Most underperforming Cloudflare deployments fail on configuration, not on plan tier.

  • Default WAF baseline left untunedProduces false positives on payment and API traffic.

A rule-by-rule review of blocked legitimate requests detects it.

  • Bot Management parked in log-only modeStops nothing while looking configured.

Check whether any bot rule has an enforcement action set.

  • No rate limiting on authentication and payment endpointsLeaves credential stuffing unpriced.

An endpoint inventory against active rate-limit rules detects it.

  • Modules bought and never configuredInflate the contract without changing security posture.

An account audit against the module list detects it.

  • Partner unreachable during an incidentSignals a reseller sold as a managed service.

    Review the last incident timeline.

  • Account provisioned in the partner’s tenantUnclear ownership blocks exit.

Check the account role assignments now, not at renewal.

Three recovery paths

  • Configuration audit fixes tuning.
  • Right-sizing at renewal fixes contract waste.
  • A partner-of-record transfer moves an existing Enterprise contract to a new partner without re-platforming.

The decision

Choosing a Cloudflare partner: what actually decides it

Delivery model decides who owns your configuration and your incidents. Tier decides your discount, and tier does not decide your outcome.

Verify authorization in Cloudflare’s partner locator, then test the two things no directory shows: named engineers and a written escalation path. Cloudflare’s own documentation stays the source of record for what a feature does, and CRN’s 2025 Partner Program Guide confirms the channel program itself is credible.

Next step

Get a Cloudflare Enterprise setup that matches your estate

Enterprise is quote-based. A provider that owns configuration and incident response will scope it before quoting.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

How do I verify that a company is really a Cloudflare partner?

Check Cloudflare’s official partner locator, reachable from cloudflare.com/find-a-partner/, which now redirects to partnerlocator.cloudflare.com. The listing confirms authorization only. Ask separately for certification records and named engineers, because the directory does not publish them.

Is Cloudflare Enterprise cheaper through a partner than direct?

Cloudflare prices Enterprise by quote and lists the Contract plan as “Custom”, so no public comparison exists. Deal registration and partner tier affect discount eligibility on a specific opportunity. Ask the partner to register the deal before you compare numbers.

What is the difference between a Cloudflare reseller and a Cloudflare technology partner?

A reseller sells Cloudflare licenses and contracts to end customers. A technology partner builds product integrations, such as Datadog for observability or Wiz for cloud posture. Technology partners do not implement your Cloudflare deployment.

Does a Cloudflare partner replace Cloudflare support?

No. Cloudflare provides first-line support for the Enterprise service. A service delivery partner adds customer-side expert support, including configuration review, traffic analysis, and rollout planning. Both channels stay open in parallel.

Can I change Cloudflare partners in the middle of a contract?

A partner-of-record transfer moves an existing Enterprise contract to a different partner without re-platforming. Terms depend on your contract and on Cloudflare’s approval. Confirm account ownership and role assignments before starting the transfer.

Which Cloudflare partner suits a Digital Entertainment or FinTech platform?

Choose a provider with case history in bonus abuse, affiliate fraud, and API abuse patterns. Ask for a reference architecture matching your traffic profile and your domain count. Verticalized providers usually name Digital Entertainment, FinTech, Blockchain, and SaaS explicitly.
